• Keep the tattoo bandage applied by your artist in place for 3 to 4 days without removing it.
• During this period, do not tamper with, lift, or adjust the bandage.
• When showering, use only lukewarm water. Avoid very hot or very cold water.
• It is normal for fluid buildup or small bubbles to occur under the bandage; this is not a sign of infection.
• If the bandage opens early or if you experience serious irritation/allergic reactions, gently remove it and proceed with the aftercare routine.
• On the 3rd or 4th day, carefully peel the bandage slowly and parallel to the skin’s surface.
• Do not pull upward; instead, slide the bandage off parallel to your skin.
• After removal, thoroughly wash your hands.
• Gently wash the tattooed area with lukewarm water and an antibacterial, fragrance-free liquid soap by lightly rubbing in circular motions.
• Pat dry the tattoo using a sterile disposable paper towel.
• Do not use wet wipes, alcohol-based products, or scrub with soap suds.
• Apply Bepanthol Repairing Care Ointment to the tattooed area.
Apply a very thin layer 4–5 times a day.
• Avoid using excessive amounts of cream; it is essential that the tattooed skin can breathe.
• For 15–20 days, strictly avoid swimming pools, the sea, saunas, and Turkish baths (hammams).
• Protect the tattooed area from friction, impact, and pressure.
• Before showering, cover the tattoo generously with plain petroleum jelly (Vaseline).
• Do not use a loofah or scrub during showers; avoid applying pressure to the tattooed area.
• After showering, gently and carefully remove the petroleum jelly with a sterile paper towel.
• It is completely normal for the tattoo to peel or flake during healing. Do not pick or scratch the skin.
• Avoid exposing the tattoo directly to sunlight.
• Once healing is complete, always use a high-SPF (50+) sunscreen when exposing your tattoo to the sun.
• Keep your skin consistently moisturized. (Coconut oil or similar natural moisturizers can be supportive.)
• Maintain overall skin care to preserve the vibrancy and quality of your tattoo over time.
• In the first week and again after one month, it is recommended to send a clear daylight photo of your tattoo to your artist for evaluation.
• Avoid deviating from the recommended aftercare protocol; do not experiment with alternative products or methods.
• Healing times may vary from person to person; typically, complete healing takes between 2–4 weeks.
• In the event of any abnormal reaction (severe redness, excessive swelling, discharge, etc.), contact your artist immediately without delay.
